Tamarim Concierge founders, Tamar Pearlman and Tammy Braverman made Aliyah with their families in the summer of 2007. The two attended Ulpan together – the start of a close personal friendship and professional collaboration.
Shortly thereafter, Tamarim became a vision and then a reality in 2009 when friends from abroad required help in planning a Bar Mitzvah celebration in Israel. Word quickly spread after the successful event and more parties were planned on behalf of those living abroad. Not long after, followed an assignment involving apartment design and management.
Realizing a unique business opportunity, Tamarim Concierge was launched with the singular goal of meeting the exacting needs of English-speaking visitors to and residents of Israel
Since making Aliyah with her family in the summer of 2007, there is almost nothing Tamar Pearlman has not dealt with in terms of Israeli bureaucracy, culture and daily life challenges. She has earned the respect and admiration of her peers and clients due her uncanny ability to “get it done,” no matter how seemingly insurmountable the challenge. Case in point: Tamar, who hails from Glasgow, Scotland, is a speech and language therapist for Israelis. In Israel. Who speak little-to-no English.
As if that’s not enough, it’s worth noting that Tamar is an accomplished triathlete, who consistently ranks among the top performers in her category.
An over-achiever by nature, Tamar is consistently eager to take on new challenges. After realizing that she always finds a way to deal with the overwhelming, she now focuses her drive and attention on ensuring her clients never have to worry at all, beyond enjoying their time in Israel.
Tammy Braverman has earned a reputation with her clients for her fastidious attention to detail and ability to handle endless list of tasks that would leave many simply overwhelmed. Clients are continually pleasantly surprised at her ability to anticipate their needs, and have come to rely on her knack for finding solutions to any logistical challenge.
Tammy attributes her success in managing the endless details associated with providing “white glove” concierge services to her early days as a young mother working toward her Master’s of Social Work degree – which she earned in 1995 – while holding a full-time job as a program director at a major Jewish Community Center in the New York City metro area.
Since then, Tammy has held a series of increasingly responsible positions within the educational and social services fields. Most recently, Tammy was an Aliyah Coordinator at Nefesh b’Nefesh where, at any given time, she managed an ongoing caseload of 200 families, working with and counseling them regarding the intricacies of realizing their dream of Aliyah.
She moved to Modiin from New York with her family in the summer of 2007.
