Our Busiest Month Ever!

Purim is over and as we turn our attention towards Pesach, another hectic period for us here at Tamarim, it’s time to reflect on our busiest month ever.

March 2016 has certainly been a mega month in more ways than one. We got off to a flying start quite literally as both Tammy and I flew to New York City to attend the Nefesh B’Nefesh Mega Aliyah Event. No sooner had we landed at JFK we were hot footing it across Manhattan to join Mayer Fertig as guests on his radio show on the Nahum Segal Network. It was great speaking to Mayer, answering questions about Tamarim explaining the many ways and varied requests we have received helping new Olim. He assured me that people would understand my Scottish accent! If you missed the show click here to listen to a recording.

The Mega event itself was a fantastic day. It was great meeting so many people, it was great to catch up with past and present clients as well as meeting many new ones. It’s always fun to play Jewish Geography and even though I come from Glasgow in Bonnie Scotland it was amazing how many connections there were. I spoke to someone who only knew one person from Scotland and that one person just happened to be my Dad! It’s a small world.

Purim

No sooner had we landed back at Ben Gurion with Purim only a week away and Mishloach manot orders coming in thick and fast it was time to ensure everyone’s bespoke requests were catered for, orders made up and deliveries arranged across the country.

And now that the clocks have changed and spring is in the air, Pesach is right around the corner and once again we are busy helping clients with their Pesach plans. From baby equipment and car seat hire, Pesach gifts, arranging takeout food for the seder, getting your rental ready for arrival and itinerary planning.

Of course! We do that.
